You need to understand that Kleaneasy is responsible of several other forums at Ubisoft as well as RZ, and I can understand why she can't focus 100% on RZ all the time. And I know putting a lot of work, or even any amout of work into something and then seeing it wiped out time after time isn't any fun either, it is in fact extremely discouraging, and in the end, all you get is shit thrown at you because people are childish and blame you for something you couldn't do anything with.
I agree on the fact that bashing the admins for their lack of activity and action is quite unfair because RZ isn't the only forum they have to take care of, but they're the sole responsible for their unfair deeds and their zoned out behaviour. I don't think every official game forum on the internet has fallen as low as RZ, which leads us into thinking there must be something wrong with the way Ubi manage their forums.
Limely wrote:It's funny how some students in France do a much better job at managing a forum though, but then again, PC hasn't had low-life hackers wiping it regularly twice a year either
Once again, ARZO would never have been created if Ubi admins had had a decent behaviour. It sure is bad luck to have such a group of retards hot on one's heels, but we all know who's to blame :?

The ban of the ARZO-members was long before I joined RZ, so I wouldn't know if the bans were fair or not, but you can't blame the current admins for what the past ones have done.

Of course, but I can't think of any that hasn't behaved unfairly at least once :?

Well, I think I can understand why political threads are locked, but warning someone for wanting a hack? Come on, that's insane. Although it does show supportive behaviour towards the past hacks, it certainly won't make ARZO or KRZK hack again. Their hacks aren't fuelled by other members' desires.

If RZ lives on, people will be blind in a few years. Ugh, that colour.

It seems that the entirety of the Ubi forums aren't available today, even though I'm logged in. Any idea on what's happened?

Well, some arguments could get quite heated. We all know how strict Kleaneasy is.

Heated arguments are interesting and create variety and things.

So Kleanesy destroys them.

It's not just Kleaneasy that closes discussions that get heated, it's basically every moderator and admin on forums where any idealogical debate [ie politics, religion etc] isn't even allowed. It's pretty much their job to keep forums somewhat peaceful. :/

RaymanZone is terrible. Its admins are terrible and its colours are terrible. I wish that they would just stop resurrecting it and making it worse after each hack and just let it rest in peace.

A better idea would be to separate RaymanZone from the rest of the Ubiforums and take regular backups. Seriously, I can't find any reason why when in 2004 when the forums were hacked, Ubisoft didn't choose to create another set instead of joining them on to the rest of theirs. Not only are they hideous, they're also very bad quality.

I've come to accept that there isn't anybody at Ubi who's going to care more about RZ. I'm afraid it's just the way it is: Raymanzone doesn't have franchise that's running for good sales at the moment, and there are not as many people interested in it as in other games anyway. From Ubi's point of view it's just not profitable to put one single admin on the forum. It IS a shame for the board since it could have been much more. It's just an unlucky board.

I have to agree. All it is now is a bucket of fail with very little security. Always has been for me, but I still come on it anyway, at least nowadays, because you'll never know when at least one discussion relevant to my interests would pop up. Though it's mostly people that shouldn't be anywhere near a Wii that can't get the wiimotes to work properly and jump on the Wiiboard [BIG NO NO if you don't want a broken back :(], that flood it with the same questions over and over.

I wish I had screenshots of the pile of fail that came before RaymanZone 03, a Rayman Arena forum. God that was like, a bogey-green coloured IMDB that kept getting trolled by Rayman haters.

In fact, I remember an admin telling me that Ubi was getting tired of those separate forums, and when RZ was hacked by ARZO, it was a perfect occasion to merge it with the Ubi forums.
