Rayman (kinda) confirmed for Smash Bros. - VOTE Rayman

I won't jump into fake expectations until I have an official source confirming this so here's what I think about this:

The model looks very similar to the 3D trailer of Rayman Legends we had before and he even does the R1 pose (that I did not notice first) which is a neat reference. I don't see anything wrong in the picture after staring to it for a minute but I've got to agree I don't like those eyebrows a lot, they were never black in first place. If this is a fake/photomontage I can tell it is pretty well made because it can really convince. Now if there's the fact that Ubisoft and Nintendo were developing this in secret and are preparing a DLC, I'm gonna squeal.
 
Yes, even if it were fake the guy who made it put QUITE the effort, it looks pretty legit. I'm on the fence here, I'm not sure whether to confirm if I think this is true or not.

They took a lower quality image scan of Rayman, however this is just another image so that proves nothing.

I saw that amiibo picture before. It would definitely be a problem but I highly doubt they would use a coloured pillar á la Link amiibo.
 
Or they would be more creative and make an amiibo where Rayman sits. Problem solved.
 
It'd be awesome to see Rayman in Smash, not a fan of the eyebrows though :P
Not a fain of Smash either, but if Rayman does make the game...

I'm excited, wow. Now I feel like replaying every Rayman game. It's that time of year again, honhon.

Sounds like you're ready to fap Rulez! But yeah man, I know that feeling, I'll go through weird transitional phases in my life where I just want to play the shit out of every Rayman game again, not currently going through this but there will always be that opportunity around the corner. ;)

We should all have a bet opening and everyone here can place tings, and if Rayman is confirmed you get double the tings you bet (of course there will be a limit on how much you can double), anyone up for that idea? :p
 
I'll ask the only mod browsing this topic but, Master, do you think a bet placing could be possible? Or bad idea?

Alright just a little idea I had thought of, as long as Hunch approves and there's some type of limit I think it'll be interesting.
 
Okay, if this drek is legit and hope to freaking Gosh that it is, what assets from the Rayman franchise would you like to see represented in Smash? I'm talking like music, trophies, assist trophy, Power Ups, and all that jazz?

We should discuss a stage, move set, and Final Smash separately though since it seems like something entirely different.
 
I do think that a neat final Smash would be one of the can powerups from Rayman 3, but considering they're using the Origins/Legends style that's doubtful they'll use anything related to R3. What I'm predicting is perhaps some thing a little similar to Pac-mans where you nab the lum king your opponents glow red and you can chase them, upon contact they take heavy damage.
 
But that wouldn't really represent Rayman as a series. I hope they do something like Mega Man who had lots of representation or something iconic like Pac Man.
