How long can you go underwater without breathing?

It would probably be better since before you're 30 your body progressively gets better at what it does.

That's a truth with modifications. For instance; I would probably have been able to hold my breath longer about a year ago, right after I finished the Norwegian Army's basic training, because my physical shape was better and I had better lunge capacity than I have no, after 6 months of riding a snowmobile everywhere. :P

Ouch. That if anything will hurt your lungs, especially if the air is dry.

Uhm... riding a snowmobile doesn't damage your lungs. What I meant was that I wasn't as physically active during my 6 months as a Border Ranger as I was during basic training, so my physical shape declined. :?

Oh. What I actually meant was driving a snowmobile in cold dry weather would have a toll on your lungs/heart.

i can go under for some time,i dont remember how long because of winter,but... yeah some time :oops2:

I think seriously I wouldn't even manage half a minute unless I was forced to.

I remember I used to try, but I could barely make it from one side of the pool to the other without needing to take a breath.

Oh yeah, there's no way I can go from one side of a pool to the other without having to breathe.

I'm not a great swimmer but I still like it, it's actually good exercise too.
