Any questions on this board?

It's like you fellas never seen a fish bowl belt wearing cat bopping up and down in an elevator with a squirrel bystander in the corner before.

Question: What the hell happened on the 17th February 2011, 2:54 pm? There where 338 users online at the same time, apparently the most ever recorded. Was there an event or what?

Bots spamming the forums with new threads over and over posting advertising links and/or useless and nonsensical replies to topics.

I see.

Another question: there's a way of subscribing to certain topics to get notified when someone replies, but is there a notifier to when someone directly replies to your reply, or maybe when someone mentions your name? That'd be useful.

Wasn't that the en masse attack of a zillion spambots? That was a hectic time indeed.
Hmm, I asked about that before, I don't think I got an answer. The last major spambot attack was in May 2013, we've got some details on it in the documentary thread.

Ah right, maybe it was more recent than I imagined. You were already a member of staff, I think, and I'm pretty sure you weren't back in 2011.

I just finished reading the documentary, this place has quite some history.

Edit:
I was wondering if there is a way to customise the RSS feed to only show messages on the English forums? It'd be very beneficial as I use it a lot to see what's going on, but there are some French ones I don't understand.

Edit:
Another thing, is there something that tells me how long I've been a member? I know it says when I joined, but like a counter for days and years, it'd be interesting and would save me the hassle of calculating it.

It'd also be funny if there was something that told you how many minutes you've been a member, but I doubt that exists :D

You'll find the RSS set-up tools here. Press go and select "English Forums" in the drop down menu, that ought to make the RSS only display posts from the English forums.

Don't think that does exist, might make a fun side project to any fella who fancies a bit of programming, mind you.
