Plum has a script that you can use which allows you to use the green theme from April. I might just borrow it from him myself if he doesn't mind. :P
 
I'm saying good, but only because it's clearly better than Internet Explorer and Microsoft Edge. :P

Edit: Google are a part of almost everything, including my phone which is basically entirely Google.

I don't understand what it means to rebase Edge on Chromium though. Sorry, can you explain that to me, please?
 
Well, from now on, when Microsoft releases a new version of Edge, their browser, it'll be based on Chromium. This means it'll basically be Google Chrome, but with Microsoft's name on it instead, and perhaps a few other minor changes. Before, this was not the case, because Microsoft developed the whole thing themselves.
 
I think it'll be nice to have a decent browser included in Windows, rather than having to use Internet after the installation Explorer/Edge to download anothet browser. :mrgreen:

The problem is that Android is basically Google's OS. I'd like to be able to deGooglify it myself, but I don't even think the S8 has a real version of LineageOS at this stage.
 
Yeah, the Gapps weave themselves really tightly into the fabric of the OS, even if they aren't present in the upstream AOSP.
Of course, what happened to me was a simple slip of the finger – I was using an app as root to move system apps from /system to /data, and accidentally hit "System settings", with no way to undo. The phone was also encrypted, so there was no hope!
 
Ah yeah my phone has that encryption by default. It can be disabled, but the only issue is that if you lose your phone, then others can go through your data. Of course the other issue is just as you described there.

I've had that issue a few times with custom ROMs where if I mess up a system folder, I'll just get constant "has stopped" errors popping up and I'll have to factory reset it to repair the damages.

I guess it's not nice having to lose your data and keep setting up your device again.
 
Yep. What they did was a master plan. Google chrome browsers Would be my preference After Edge and almost Everyone uses that anyway so go for it.

If I had to tell the difference between your reactions and Plum's to the number of choices made if you were the one organizing the Polls. It Would Definitely be no Contest. :lol:
 
I'm just good with numbers. :lol:

I find peoples opinions interesting and that's why I pay attention to the polls, but it's just funny to see this one looking bad all week, then the poll just took a complete U-turn when there was a couple of hours to go.
 
So in the end I'm the only one who doesn't like this erosion of competition? Ah well!

Well I'm not sure it's really good for the sake of the company, but I just like how it's better than Edge. Maybe I should just move to Firefox and let that be that. :P

Was there ever a poll for preferred input method for games? Such as Mouse & Keyboard, PlayStation Controller, Xbox Controller. Instead of making the list too long, I think they'd be good with a fourth option called "other" for other controllers. People can specify in a post what they prefer to use if they choose other.

It would probably have to be preferred input method for PC gaming to make sense really.

Just out of curiousity, what's the difference between justified and justified, with hypenation? I don't think I've ever seen the third style of text alignment before. But it sounds like a nice idea. :)
 
It's kind of self explanatory, it adds hyphens to words, but it puts the second half of them on a new line instead of using the larger spaces that justified uses.
