Any questions on this board?

Ah, sorry for the late reply, my sleep's been way outta wack lately.

Technically it's something I made in a game, if anyone remembers good ol' Spore.
I found out there was a gif making function and I made a gif and wondered, "Hey maybe I could post this someplace on RPC, maybe other people have made Rayman-Spore stuff too"

So yeah, if there's a place for that before I attempt to make one, lemme know!

Edit: So outta wack apparently that I forgot to direct this to Elite, whoops.

Well, I know that ZelenPixel shared some of her Rayman-Spore creations in her own topic (Rayman fanworks section):

So, I guess another option (besides using the Spore Topic) could be to create your own thread in the fanworks section, so you can post your Rayman-Spore gifs and other Rayman related stuff made by you.

Hrm, that SPORE topic seems quite old, the last post was around 2015.
I may have to go about making a new topic in the future then, exciting!

I've really only got around 3 gifs on my person to post about, so maybe an open topic-type post where people can show off stuff they've made would be better than say, a topic solely for myself.

Yes, that's another option, however aside from ZelenPixel, I don't know how many other users also make Rayman related stuff in Spore. The good thing about having your own topic, is that you can use it to share other creations aside of what you make in Spore. I guess it is up to you .

I know I'm double posting but what does it mean when it shows which users are active and it shows like "Google [Bot]" and stuff like that. Is that just to see how many users there are. What are they for?

Well, you know search engines like Google have to send out bots to "crawl" the web, following links and finding pages to put in their results. Since those bots crawl by sending normal HTTP requests to webservers, they look just like users. But the search engine bots identify themselves as such, and the forum software then recognizes them and serves them special versions of pages so they can't do silly things like try to sign up for an account. And it also shows them with their special identity in the "who's online" list so curious users can see which search engines are crawling the site and when!

I wonder what is the real size limit for signatures in this site, I have seen some outlandishly big signatures in recent times.

The SOTM limit is 285. But maybe if we instituted a lower limit it might encourage people like me to turn signatures back on. Problem is, I'd probably have to do something about mine then! :oops2:

I'd appreciate to know if there's any kind of double-posting tolerated? I was wondering if I made a topic for my art if I'm able to post more art as a separate post later in that topic rather than continuously updating the original post.

While I'd like to so I can get tings from my art posts, I wouldn't be posting one at a time to milk it. It'd just be more like if I got a batch of art I feel like posting then I'll post them together. But I 'll understand if it's better just to update the main post instead. :hap:
