1080p? Yeah, these videos can be really big. That’s why < only records vids at 320x240. (< only records old stuff like PS1 games and such).
 
Ah, < sees, < knows Ad has quite a sizeable bunch of HDDs for his various creative projects as well.
< decided to rewatch one of Em's old Rayman Revolution videos, it looks pretty nice when it's at HD resolutions.
 
< wonders if ^^^^ is making videos for YouTube or ^^^^ just stores videos. < can understand that videos can be really big, when it comes to quality, espacially BluRay quality like.
< is rendering <'s videos with the x264 codec bitrate based 8Mbps. < thinks that is fine for YouTube only.
Though < yet did not fill up <'s two RAID bridged HDDs :P

< feels flattered for what ^^ said. Unfortunately, < never completed that playthrough :/
 
< knows, but < is thankful that ^^ did allow some fleeting glimpse of what Rayman 2 could look like in HD.
 
< believes that the footage ^ is seeing on <'s old RR playthrough can be recorded from stock hardware as well, by either enforcing the PS2 to output 1080i or 720p via component cable or by using an upscaler box with the proper RGB cable. < didn't have a RGB cable so < had to use component but the enforcing to higher resolutions occured some errors in the game.
 
Hm, < wasn't aware that the PS2 could be forced to natively output 720p, < just thought it'd be upscaled. Either ways, there's still the widescreen that ^ managed thanks to Ribshark.
 
Sadly this widescreen patch needs some rework. ^ should know that using some kind of action replay disc or by hexediting into the iso, < could even play Rayman Revolution on native hardware with the widescreen patch.

A little of both, for YouTube vids of course the renders aren't very big, but for other stuff like short films they can be, not to mention the source files.

< is getting <'s roots dyed again today. <'s hair grows really fast, so < needs to visit the hairdresser at least once a month for that.

Later tonight, < is going to see the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra perform some Rachmaninoff.

Imagine an HDD with a 2*10^100 byte storage capacity...

Haruka, you make the game look so easy! Try rerecording the PC playthrough with the Mega Patch.
 
<'s college assignment schedule is far, far too cramped up. And most of it is pointless filler that has nothing to do with what < signed up to do.
 
< is beginning to feel somewhat crushed with workload also, the exams loom like a vast predatory bird...
 
< has things to do for the next couple of weeks and yet < proceeded to do eff all on these days off
