They could make it so that he can't use power-ups, but can use parkour (Cat Suit) and the Homing Attack. And make him a bit faster than Toad. Maybe let him pick up speed on slopes?

And regarding speed...

It really depends on what you're looking for. If you want something simple that everyone can play, get 3D World.

If you want something more challenging and action oriented with wacky sense of humour, go for Wonderful 101.

Ah yes, I've seen it also, I'd like one too, though I wouldn't have anywhere to put it, alas.
 
Seeing as it's a more recent thing, I guess one could try to sell it, but I'm not sure.
 
Oh ok. I was asking it because I cannot buy anything from Club Nintendo because none of countries where I have apartment are listed on European Club Nintendo.
