It's also the only part I can show without spoiling a little of the game. I really want to keep as much as I can a secret until I finish the script. That will take a while.

The story in that part goes like this:
During a particularly stormy night, Blue is washed up the shores of the Glade of Dreams. Barely able to move, he finds shelter and falls asleep. When he wakes up, 3 Teensie fishermen are standing around him, studying his lack of limbs. He yawns loudly, blinks, and the Teensies run. Blue gets up and follows the Teensies to their home. To do so, the player has to learn all about Blue's powers and the way he's controlled. It's basically a bit like the part outside the Fairy Council in Rayman 3. :)

yea, but one question. If we send you a fan character, do we have to send you a sprite of it? because I've never made a sprite before.
 
No, no sprite ;) I make the sprites myself ;)

Just a drawing or something - so I know how your fancharacter looks.

Hey guys! Get ready for a BIG update!
Here is... a playable ( early alpha ) demo for Electoons, called DemoToons Alpha 1!
This zip file includes:
- The main executable
- A Project File ( *.gmk ) for all those who have GM7 registered to look at the project's source code
- All other files need to be extracted in the same directory as the exe/gmk file, otherwise the game will not be able to run.

For the controls, press F1 while the game is running ( menu or ingame ).

FOR THOSE WHO USE GAME MAKER 7:
If you execute the source code, you will probably see an error with an extension package. That's because you don't have the Winskin extension package installed. So download it here:

Remember, as this is a very very early alpha demo, this game does not include very much yet. Real platforming, bosses, etc. aren't included yet. This demo is just for testing purposes ( searching for bugs, etc. ). Example: There is only one enemy, and that enemy is located in Mr Dark's Lair ( but you may see that enemy can actually be hard to defeat ) ( Oh, and mr dark is not an enemy in this demo! Just someone to talk to, who says that YOU ARE DOOMED haha )

Looks great, Neshae is called Rayman in the game though.

Wish I could've tried using online mode.

BTW: If you remembered my character, Jimmy Thunder/The Raymanian Torch of the Favorite Four, if you need more info on him or how he looks, watch the Fantastic Four Movie. It'll give you information and looks. Just transform his look into a Raymaniany look.
 
I don't mean to be a party pooper, but there is a glitch. If you talk to someone, you cannot move to the next thing they say, or even quit their speech, unless you go to another room. But apart from that, it's bloody fantastic! The graphics are great, and I can see that you have worked extremely ####### this game. I can tell that the gameplay will become very good as well.
Could you send me the coding for the Antitoon enemy? Cause I'd like to make similar enemies in my game.
 
Wow Drolpiraat! Your GameMaker skills must be great. I mean, I'm still not able to make something like this on my own. And you've chosen great engines for the lightning, etc. I can't wait for the full version of the game, just like for Phoenixan's one. And maybe I'll ever start my own Rayman fangame project.

@Kelvin: I know he's called Rayman, I just saw that when I had uploaded the demo. It was kinda made in a rush ( I had promised someone I would release a demo that day ), so.... ;)
BTW: I remember your character, and everyone's characters, but I'm still busy adding them all ;)
I can't watch the movie though, as my father wouldn't allow me to buy it. I could download it, but before I do that, isn't there any youtube video that features the character?

@Lachimax: Uhh... you could try to buy a new computer, or try to fix it using several hacks/updates, and then uninstalling every single program on your computer and install them again to run the game. Of course, there are still easy ways, and one of these is just pressing ENTER when the character has finished talking to you... ;)
The coding for the whole game is included in the zip file for you ( Electoons - Project.gmk - It's for Gamemaker 7 Pro ) ;)

@Newray: Thank you! I actually got the idea of making this game after I saw Phoenixan's game, so I can't wait either for both full games ;)
And I do hope you will start your own Rayman fangame project sometime, so we could all enjoy some great Rayman games! ^^
