They're complicated because it uses up to about 23 strokes and one kanji can mean one or more words. Most kanji is used in Japan as well, and as I said I only know about one or two kanji and it's like one of the simplest ones:
I'm no expert at it but I know that they use at least three scripts in the Japanese language - kanji, hirigana, and katakana which is the one used for foreign words likeレイマン [Reiman = Rayman].

More like something that doesn't make much sense. Japanese has a completely different alignment of grammar. I know very little Japanese myself, I only know the words for cat and heart.
