So, what rayman fangames are really out there?
I only know of 2 atm, and none of them are complete. I'll create a list of the fangames, and you guys tell me which ones are out there!
Completed:
- - -
In development:
Rayman: Revenge of the dark
Game developers: Rayfan9876
Programming language: C++, Lua, Actionscript, and XML, uses CryEngine 3
Thanks!
I will make links to each fangame tomorrow, and include the last request. Just gotta check it out a little bit more though!
Update tomorrow! GN

I think that's a pretty good idea. List all the fangames with a couple details + authors... organized idea.

Good idea to list the fangames, but if you want to do it, you need to do it right, so here are some corrections.

Well, he said he used Flash, so I assumed that he coded it in ActionScript. But now I know it was only for the graphics. Thanks for the correction. It's impressive that GameMaker have been so much capable of imitating the original Rayman engine. I am also going to edit the article on Wikipedia.

Oh, my programming languages are C++, Lua, Actionscript, and XML. And the engine is CryEngine3. Not all of those have been used yet, but they will be staying like that once CryEngine3 is released in a few months, so just put it as the ones I listed.
Once CryEngine3 is out, it'll be like the 3D GameMaker, but a little more complicated. It's kind of taking off UDK's idea since it worked so well, but the Unreal Engine seems like it's starting to get old, so I'd never use it.

Rayman DX
Game developer: JMaxVG
Programming language(s): ? ( I think this is made in Game Maker, but I'm not sure )
I've earlier thought about creating a RayWiki entry about fangames. Shouldn't we just do it now?

Even cooler ideas to add on!
In the Wiki entry for each, give the:
• name (use logo instead if applicable):
• author:
• picture:
• video:
• description:
• main program it was made with:
• 3rd party program(s) used (if any):
• programming language(s) used:
• Links
I think it's a pretty well-rounded thing to do.
Here's mine:
------
• name (use logo in wiki entry instead if applicable):
• author:
RayFan9876
• picture (in the forum just use a thumbnail with a link to the full picture or an attachment):
• video:
• description:
Rayman 1.5 is a sequel to Rayman, but it comes before Rayman 2.
After the defeat of Mister Dark, did anything seem wrong? Was anything forgotten? Wake up Rayman, you forgot something. A curse had been put on Rayman in the middle of his brawl with Mister Dark which created an evil clone of himself. This clone is exactly like Rayman in every way, in cunning, in technique, and in relentlessness, but at the same time, is the exact opposite. Rayman had run away from his clone, because contact between the two would result in instant death for both of them. After Rayman escaped, his clone remained unscathed, and watched as Mister Dark was vanquished. And so this fact remained forgotten until one fateful day when Dark Rayman became strong enough to strike. Although unlike Mister Dark, who Rayman was able to outsmart, Dark Rayman is Rayman's equivalent. He new that Rayman could handle anything to do with physical hurt or destruction. He'd endured that since the day he was born, which we don't know when or where that was. He knew that he had to strike where his light self would never dig dark enough to expect: his closest friends.
• main program it was made with:
CryEngine3
• 3rd party program(s) used (if any):
3Ds Max, Photoshop
• programming language(s) used:
C++, Lua, Actionscript, XML

You seriously mean this?
Wow, sorry to say it, but that's really lame. It doesn't even deserve to be listed. We don't need games that features such ridicules MS-Paint graphics. I'm also thinking about adding a scale that defines the quality of the games, when we get to write the RayWiki entry.

I doubt that he actually can improve the game by himself in at least 2 years without help. And it would be alpha, not beta.
