Rayman Trilogy for PS3?

Joystiq posted a news item recently regarding HD re-releases of the Prince of Persia Trilogy and a Mortal Kombat Collection for PS3. The interesting bit in the article for us looks like this:

French site Jeux Video has obtained what is believed to be box art of the unannounced Prince of Persia Trilogy and Mortal Kombat Kollection. Furthermore, it also reportedly has release date information for Splinter Cell Trilogy, Rayman Trilogy and Tom Clancy's Trilogy (Ghost Recon, Splinter Cell and Rainbow Six); all for PS3. According to the site's retail source, Mortal Kombat has an alleged launch date of November 18, while the rest are dated November 4.

The PS3 catalogue doesn't interest me a lot to be honest. But now that Rayman games are popping to it...
 
You guys should see Flower it's like the most hardcore game ever :yeah:

Not sure if I can really see the point of older Rayman games being in HD, just hope it won't be as awkward as Earthworm Jim 3D was.

It’s a completely different sort of upgrade. The Earthworm Jim remake had all the graphics completely redrawn. This could be as little as a resolution bump.
 
Trilogy = 3 major titles in a series so expect a text wall about RR and RM not being welcome there. :P

I think you must have misunderstood me. Rayman 3 is the one game that’s definitely going to be included, so I didn’t think I even needed to bring it up.

Now for the other two... I am almost sure that R1 won't appear, since it is available in the PSN.
 
It might do since that Mortal Kombat collection has one of its games that is on PSN, so my bf tells me.
 
Rayman 1 isn’t a PS2 game, and none of the PS3 collections that have been announced or rumoured so far have had non-PS2 games in them. I guess we’ll have to settle for Rayman M for the time being. Hopefully this will give them an opportunity to correct its glaring omission of online multiplayer.

I'm hoping it will have rayman M, revolution, and hoodlum havoc.
