earthworm jim is basically one of the greatest characters ever created(in my opinion) for many reasons,that im to lazy to say, i remenber watching 2 episodes of the cartoon,i wish i could watch it again,cuz the cartoon was awesome,i still remenber playing earthworm jim 1 on my pc and playing it alot,but i lost my copy of it,i still have my copy of earthworm jim 3 but that game sucked alot,it might had humor but the game was just....neh

I originally met him because of the cartoon show back when it was passing in Portugal. After I learnt the cartoons were based in video games from him.

I own Earthworm Jim HD for PS3 and Earthworm Jim 3D for PC.

I have all EWJs from GOG. I have finished the first two, but not the third yet.

I like the twisted atmosphere of the games, but most of all in the series i like Queen Pulsating Festering Puss filled Malformed Slug for a Butt. She has a lot of villainous attitude and a lot more. A true badass.

But in my opinion the protagonist Jim is a lame big loser jerk, because of the ending of the first game. That was THE LAMEST ENDING IVE EVER SEEN. Why the hell cant he lift one cow a bit or is he afraid to touch cows or what the hell? He made all the way to Whats Her Name and cant lift one cow? A better name for Jim is Earthjerk Dim.

did you even watched the show to understand the joke that appears on the ending? -_-
and did you even remenber what happens on the first level to know where the hell this cow came from?

On the topic, the Earthworm Jim TV series was released on a DVD set some months ago, but only in Australia, it seems.
I once rented it from the library myself.

Yes, only in Australia, which is a pity.

I also know that Mezco released a EWJ action figure, and it looks cool.

@Smega I've added you in PS3.

I plan on playing through the first and second game soon, if I find the time. I've always liked Earthworm Jim and are really hoping the old Shiny team can get back together to give Jim the comeback he deserves. By the way, has anyone seen the endings to Earthworm Jim: Special Edition on Sega CD/Windows, they're hilarious. I've also had these fellas for some time, They're made by Playmates, except for Bob, he's a Taco Bell promotion.

Cool figures! I wouldn't mind having the Mezco figure of Jim they made recently.
