Seeing that LM Murphy shared how he got 2D Nightmare here: http://www.raymanpc.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=13&t=7570&p=674705#p674705

Should it be added here?

Can do, not many people still even know about this but I'd maybe use the pre tags for the codes. --Cairnie 18:37, 10 July 2012 (CEST)
OK, I've added it to the article, is it suitable and adequately placed? --Master4lyf1 21:30, 10 July 2012 (CEST)

Unlockable?

I do not believe that 2D Nightmare is actually unlockable. There are a number of things to suggest that, such as the (almost) empty life bar, the fact the the timer does not appear when Rayman has obtained a combat fatigue, and the sub-standard ending to the level when compared to 2D Madness. I believe that this was a planned minigame scrapped at the last minute due to time constraints, and that they simply forgot to remove the entry from the bonus menu. Hm, there's no legitimate way known to get into it, so perhaps that is the case, however, we do have evidence to show that it does exist and is very much playable from what L.M. Murphy posted, though I think he used cheats to have it how it is in his video. The only way we can be sure if that's the actual case is if someone tried using the cheats on a Rayman 3 GCN copy and reviewing it for themselves. --Master (talk) 00:03, 17 December 2013 (CET)
I've got into it (on Dolphin) using only the code provided by L.M. Murphy, that I analysed and only modifies the which menu item is selected. It is certainly playable, but there are issues I would believe to have been fixed if they were to include it in the actual game. I have however, found references to a secret passage in one file, "You have found a secret passage!" and "There is a rumor that some of these mirrors are magical passageways...", although the latter could be refering to the hidden room in tLS part 1.Ribshark (talk) 17:14, 18 December 2013 (CET)
I think it makes sense, though once again there is no way to know. Definitely worth mentioning in the article though. —RRRGBAIcon8.pngRRRGBAIcon0.gifRRRGBAIcon1.png 19:54, 17 December 2013 (CET)
I also attempted to connect both R3 games at 100% through GBA and GameCube (Wii actually) and nothing contributed to unlock anything. It is possible it was ultimately scrapped. --Sparkle.gifHarukaSparkle.gif 13:25, 18 December 2013 (CET)
