Redesign?
As nice as these templates look, they make navigating between level articles rather inefficient, and they're not laid out in a very easy to read manner. Should I want to read the level article for The Reveal, for instance, I'd have to first navigate to the main world article for whatever world the level is, then navigate to the Moody Clouds article, then finally, to the reveal. If I were to redesign the template as we have here, we can link levels and worlds simultaneously in one template that's concise, easy to read, and significantly more efficient. -- 17:57, 26 December 2014 (CET)
- Yeah that's a good idea, but, the Rayman Origins templates are illustrated with an image... How do you insert images into a new template like Rayman 3 GBA template?? -Harpic fraîcheur (talk) 19:02, 26 December 2014 (CET)
- Suffice to say, we wouldn't. It's obviously not as aesthetically pleasing, however, between aesthetics and functionality, I personally think functionality is of greater importance. There's no point having a prettied-up navbox if it can't effectively perform the task intended. And therein lies my issue with templates like these, they look pretty, but they're not the most functional. The same could also be said of the all-encompassing navboxes I made for R1 and R2, they're too bloated. They're an issue I want to refine further, and fine a more optimal solution to, but I don't feel I can deal with them at present. -- 20:31, 26 December 2014 (CET)
- This is true, the functionality is more important than aesthetic. We may also use one of the images to represent the model you want to create (If that's possible). -Harpic fraîcheur (talk) 21:00, 26 December 2014 (CET)
- I try to do it. -Harpic fraîcheur (talk) 20:43, 8 January 2015 (CET)
