PS1 Version

View Unused Animation

Shows an animation that is used in the title screen in most other versions of the game, but otherwise goes unused in the PS1 version of the game.

European Version

Hold R1 and R2 as the game is starting. The animation will play before the copyright screen.

North American Version

Hold R1 and R2 as the magician's intro ends. The animation will play instead of the Rayman logo appearing. The easiest way to do this is to hold the R1 and R2 buttons at the "Presents" screen, then tap start.

Japanese Version

Hold R1 and R2 just as the Rayman logo appears for the first time. The animation will play once the logo has faded in all the way. The easiest way to do is is to hold the R1 and R2 buttons at the "Presents" screen, and keep them held as the Rayman logo appears.

Hide Text From Pause Screen

Hides the text from the pause screen. In the Japanese version, this will remove the dark tint of the pause screen. This can be useful for people wanting to take screenshots at precise locations.

All Versions

While the game is paused, hold R1 and R2. On release of the buttons, the pause screen will return to normal.

Picture in Picture Mode

Adds a smaller version of the game to the top-middle of the screen. This smaller version will contain an even smaller version, and so on.

All Versions

While the game is paused, hold R2 and press Circle, Circle, Left, Circle, Circle. The game will unpause and the cheat will activate. Enter the cheat again to disable.

Maximum Lives and Energy

Gives Rayman 99 lives and 5 units of energy. (Not sure if everything is required for the cheat to activate. Seems kinda complicated)

European Version

While the game is paused, press and hold, in order, L2, R1, L1 and R2. Release them in the order of L1, L2, R2 and R1, then tap Triangle. Now press and hold, in order, Right, Circle, Square and Cross. Release them in the order of Right, Cross and Square. The game will unpause and the cheat will activate.

American Version

While the game is paused, press and hold, in order, L2, R1, L1 and R2. Release them in the order of L1, L2, R2 and R1, then tap Circle. Now press and hold, in order, Left, Circle, Square and Triangle. Release them in the order of Left, Triangle and Square. The game will unpause and the cheat will activate.

Japanese Version

While the game is paused, press and hold, in order, L2, R1, L1 and R2. Release them in the order of L1, L2, R2 and R1, then tap Cross. Now press and hold, in order, Up, Circle, Square and Triangle. Release them in the order of Up, Triangle and Square. The game will unpause and the cheat will activate.

Maximum Continues

Gives Rayman 10 Continues.

All Versions

With three or less continues remaining, press Up, Down, Right, Left at the continue screen.
