The head would pop out of the box as [[Rayman]] approached it, and attempt to bite him if he came any closer. It could be neutralized by throwing a [[plum]] in its mouth, causing it to return inside the box.

While this enemy is not called Hoover in the game files, it has several similarities with the plant described in the ''[[RaymanZone]]'''s VIP zone. The only major difference is that the Hoover is described as a plant, not a machine. It is possible that during the [[Rayman 3 (early production)|development ''Rayman 3'']], the Hoover evolved from a plant to a machine, or vice versa.
