I feel that "Giant mosquito", as stated in the quote from the original game's manual, would be a better title for this article. "Mosquito" could still be a valid, shorter alternate name. This is also reflected in quite a few of the game's localizations. On the other hand, the Rayman Origins website describes them as "gigantic flying insect[s]," but again, this sounds more like a general description than an official title.
