I have a question about the name of this enemy. Nettle sounds very strange... This plant doesn't look like a nettle... In French, this enemy is called (giant) bramble in Rayman 2... What do you think about this ? -- Boomboleros7 12:32, 15 Januray 2012 (UTC)

:Howdy, we have been discussing this issue not a long time ago. In Rayman Origins' texture names, these are called Darkroots - I think this name would be more suitable for these kind of spiked tentacle-alike creatures. --Haruka 11:46, 15 January 2012 (UTC)
:'Nettle' comes from the files on the Rayman 3 disc; as far as I know, they aren't directly named in any game or any other official source. It's quite possible that it's a bad translation that hasn't been proof-read. —Spiraldoor 14:34, 15 January 2012 (UTC)
:You're right... I precise one thing :  Giant bramble come from an official source : A French book named Rayman 2 The Great Escape : Official Strategy Guide. I don't know if an English version exist... -- Boomboleros7 19:36, 15 Januray 2012 (UTC)
