Containing more than two hundred pages, its the first book totally focused in the [[Rayman (series)|Rayman franchise]] since its [[Rayman 1|birth]] until the release of ''[[Rayman Legends]]''. It was released in October of 2014 in two different editions: the normal edition and the collector's edition, known in french as "Edition Origine". The least, only limited to five hundred units, contains an alternative white cover with a ''[[Rayman 1]]'' sketch of [[Michel Ancel]] and an exclusive 45-pages book, "L'Histoire de Rayman: Les Artworks Oubliées", featuring neverseen before ''[[Rayman Legends]]'' artworks. The books are only available in French, with a planned English version to come in future under an unknown date. It is not known if the Origin Edition is going to have an English version.
