Champibumpers are a type of mushroom found in Rayman Origins, Rayman Legends, Rayman Fiesta Run and Brawlhalla. They take the players from the background to the foreground and vice versa. The mushroom's name is a portmanteau of “champignon,” which is both a common type of mushroom and the French word for “mushroom,” and “bumper.”

Description

Champibumpers have the same function and appearance in all the UbiArt games they appear in. They are cyan-coloured mushrooms, with yellow stars on top. Unlike most other mushrooms from the Rayman series, they stay stationary for the players to jump on. There are never any instances where two champibumpers appear near the same position in the background and foreground. In the music levels in Rayman Legends, a champibumper generally takes the players to the ending point.

In the E3 2013 trailer for Rayman Legends, Barbara notably uses a champibumper to escape a swarm of dark creatures.

In Brawlhalla, if the player is using Rayman and wearing his Super Metal Rayman skin, one of his attacks shows him bouncing off of a Champibumper to collect a string of Fire Lums before striking with a guitar.
