'''Fakirs''' are the oldest members of the [[Red Wizard]]s clan in ''[[Rayman Origins]]''. They are dreary fakirs that can usually be found meditating cross-legged, much like the [[Monk]]s. They reside the [[Mystical Pique]].

Fakirs share most of the features from the other Red Wizards, they are amphibian-like creatures with a dark orange skin, small eyes (usually closed until something hurts them) and light-orange facial hair. They wear dark-green loinclothes, and some piercings on their bodies. Some fakirs have long light-orange beards, while others keep their beards short and wear enormous plain hats on their heads. Fakirs, unlike other members of [[Globox's species]], have long, thin legs, which they use to meditate cross-legged.

Ever since the [[Polokus|Bubble Dreamer]] had his [[First Bad Dream|first bad dreams]], the Fakirs have inhabited [[Mystical Pique]] and spent their time acting serious and being devoted, believing that it is the only way to counteract the effect of the nightmares. Their main purpose is to hide the heart of the [[Glade of Dreams|Glade]] where the [[Bubble Dreamer]] does his dreaming, preventing anyone from approaching the sacred grounds lest they make the nightmares even worse. Despite this, the [[nymph]]s mark the trail to this place with [[Lum (UbiArt games)|Lums]] to lead [[Rayman]] and his friends there. It is unknown where exactly this place is, though it is possible that it could be the [[Snoring Tree]] or somewhere in [[Mystical Pique]].

Fakirs return in ''[[Rayman Legends]]'', where they only appear in the [[Back to Origins]] painting. Their behavior is the same as that of their previous appearance.
