== Screenshots from videos ==
Hello! Just a friendly reminder that, as per our [[RayWiki:Image policy|image policy]], screenshots from YouTube videos should not be uploaded in lossless formats (such as PNG). This is because such videos are inherently noisy, meaning they contain a lot of visual grain, compression artifacts, and tiny pixel variations.
Because PNG is a "lossless" format, it tries to perfectly preserve every single one of these microscopic, noisy details. Since the noise is so random, the PNG format cannot compress it effectively, resulting in massive file sizes that take up unnecessary server space and slow down page loading times for our readers.
Formats such as JPG or lossy WebP are perfect for such use cases, even with relatively high quality factors.
