Piranhas were intended to make a return in Rayman Origins, but they were scrapped. Artwork of the game depicts the piranha as a fish with gigantic mouths and enormous teeth, with blue-orange skin and red eyes. Their attack pattern is unknown, since there's no ingame video showing them. The only ingame reference to the piranhas is an icon of the achievement/trophy "Survivor!" in which it can be seen (Only Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 version). Like the [[Soldier]], the Piranha has it's own description and artwork on the launch site of Rayman Origins without appearing in the game. Red smaller variants of the piranhas can be seen in [[Gourmand Land]], swimming in the lakes of red punch and waiting for the heroes to fall.
