Bad Rayman makes a return as an antagonist in ''Rayman Legends''. With the spread of the nightmares, he has recovered his evil powers, and acts as he did during his first appearance. He's featured in his own sidequests akin to the Invasion levels, where Rayman must save a group of Teensies before he runs out of time. He must reach the end of the level as fast as possible by running and attacking enemies, while avoiding contact with Bad Rayman, who follows him and repeats his moves with a few seconds of delay. Bad Rayman represents some of the most challenging levels in the entire game. His appearance is different from previous entries, as this time he's almost completely dark (with a few shades showing that he still has his colour palette from ''Rayman Origins''), with purple energy emanating from his body. While he's not playable anymore, Raymesis, a member of [[Rayman's species]] who wants to ruin Rayman's reputation, is his replacement as a playable character, as he resembles him in his ''Rayman Origins'' form entirely. | |||
