If not, this information is worthless. If yes (how many official guides are there exactly?), then this information is still less important than that derived from the game itself. So, before we do anything, the process to follow is very simple: look for all English language uses of “Mawpaw” to refer to the other creature, and check whether any source is of higher importance than the guide.
