Switches are electrical components which trigger various mechanisms, permanently or temporarily.
They were originally created by the Robo-Pirates, as they were placed around the new environment. Switches have since been in other Rayman games over the years.
In Rayman 2 and it's remakes, they are quite large with a red lever and a bulb on the top. This the also the same in Rayman 3 (GBA) although much smaller. In Rayman M they are square shaped with images of Robot heads, spiders and pirahnas, and come in red and green. In Rayman 3 swtiches come in different forms, such examples are of one that is activated by walking on and ones that are square shaped with a hand print.
