Rayman Adventures (cancelled game): Difference between revisions

The trailer, likely set during the plot of ''[[Rayman 2]]'', opens in a forest location in [[The Glade of Dreams]], possibly [[The Woods of Light]] or [[The Menhir Hills]]. [[Globox]] is seen riding a [[red shell]] (that he somehow tamed, despite it being impossible in ''[[Rayman 2]]'') through the forest, with [[Rayman]] passing him on his own [[walking shell]] later on in the trailer. The scene then cuts to what appears to be a grown-up [[Catastrox]] relaxing in a dark forest and yawning. The trailer cuts to a scene with the [[Buccaneer]] deploying a fleet of [[warship]]s filled with [[Red Henchman 800|Red Henchmen 800]]. One in particular is seen aiming at [[Globox]] just outside the dark forest that [[Catastrox]] was seen in earlier, with him fearfully putting his hands up in surrender. The forest is shown to be under [[Robo-Pirate]] control, due to their flag being shown in the location, suggesting that this may be [[The Fairy Glade]] or an entirely different area. Out of nowhere, Rayman lands on a second Red Henchman 800 and spins its head around, sending it flying. He prepares to punch it, but it doesn’t come down, much to his confusion. He jumps off of the [[Henchman 800]] and it falls to the ground. The first Henchman 800 then directs its attention to Rayman, firing an energy projectile at him. Luckily, the aforementioned head finally falls down, allowing Rayman to catch it and deflect the shot with it.  

The trailer cuts to another scene where [[Rayman]] stands on a rock in a body of water (possibly [[The Iron Mountains]]), confronting three warships. Three [[Red Henchman 800|Red Henchmen 800]] prepare to attack him from one of them, with one of them saying “Freeze, you big powderpuff!” (a rare instance in which a Henchman 800 talks). One of the warships fires a cannonball, but Rayman catches it and throws it back at it, blowing it up. He then uses the [[super helicopter]], which should be impossible since he lost that power [[Beneath the Sanctuary of Rock and Lava]], to fly towards the three Henchmen 800. Their fate is unknown, but they are likely destroyed, as [[Rayman]] is then seen piloting one of the warships towards a strange blue portal. It is possible that this portal is where the [[Buccaneer]] came from earlier, but this is not confirmed. He approaches two rocks and tries (and fails) to fly between them, with him crashing the ship. Nothing else is shown from here except for [[Rayman]] peeking from behind a hill, presumably checking if the coast is clear from [[Henchman 800|Henchmen 800]].

* A 2015 [[Rayman (series)|Rayman]] [[Rayman Adventures|mobile game]] would later reuse this game’s title. It is unknown for sure if this was intentional or not, though it was most likely a coincidence.
