As the article states nowadays, the game files of Origins, Jungle Run, Legends, and Fiesta Run call the helicopter bombs "flying bombs," and this name also shows up in Rayman: The Board Game. As accustomed as I've grown to "helicopter bomb," I honestly think we should change the article's name to match these sources. If there's a source that calls it "helicopter bomb," then we can cite that in the article. --Raygamer99 (talk) 23:45, 10 June 2025 (UTC)

:I couldn't find any sources calling them "helicopter bombs" either. Prima's Official Strategy Guide (archived here) seems to call them "explosives", "explosive missiles" and "explosive mines", though they are quite obviously neither missiles nor mines. Unless someone can come up with a source for the name "helicopter bomb", I agree that the article should be renamed. — 07:28, 11 June 2025 (UTC)

::In this beta family portrait it shows the name as "Une bombe à hélice", which seems to match the name of helicopter bomb. Internally it seems to just be named "bombe" though. The audio file is also named "BOMVOL" which is short for "bomb volante" (flying bomb) which is also the internal name in the GBA version of Rayman 3 (as shown in the leaked docs as well as leftover prototype strings). -- 08:46, 12 June 2025 (UTC)
