Ecofilmes is a Portuguese company founded in 1985 which belongs to the Cosmovoga group. It started its activities in film distribution and it enters in the videogame market (with a sub-department under the initial name of Ecogames) in 1991 to represent major video game companies and distributing their hardware and software in Portugal and its autonomous regions. Among the companies, it represented Ubisoft and it was responsible for the distribution in the portuguese territory of its retail games, including Rayman's games since the beggining until 2010. Nowadays, Ubisoft Spain is in charge of the distribution of Ubisoft's products in Portugal.
