After a long absence, the magic people thought that Polokus went back to his deep sleep. However, it wasn't true, as Polokus, now just named the Bubble Dreamer, made a good friendship with Rayman, [[Globox]], some [[teensie]]s, and other creations in [[Rayman Origins]]. He became a relaxed, jolly old being, with a childish attitude. His magical instrument used to make his dreams come true is seen for the first time: a wooden bubble-blowing pipe. Everything and everybody in the Glade of Dreams is revealed to be made up of bubbles, from life to death. Those bubbles can only be created if Polokus has enough energy provided by [[Electoon]]s, the stuff of dreams.

When the Bubble Dreamer and his creations (Rayman, Globox, the Grand Minimus and a Goth Teensie) were sleeping, an evil army of Darktoons and [[Psychlops]] appeared, commanded by a [[granny]] who was annoyed about their noises. Trying to fight them was useless, and shortly, Rayman, Globox, the teensies and the Bubble Dreamer were caught in cages at the [[Snoring Tree]]. As Rayman easily escaped from his cage, he pulled the Bubble Dreamer's beard and woke him up, making him destroy his own cell and be free. ~~Murphy~~ immediately appeared, and told the heroes that in order to restore the Bubble Dreamer's memories (to make more playable characters appear), they should get some [[Electoon]]s. The Bubble Dreamer spends the rest of the game levitating at the Snoring Tree, sometimes acting crazy, pulling his left eye, clucking like a chicken and pulling his head off. Characters can pull his beard to make him laugh and tell a little description about them.
