- I agree with that. They only have the same functionality as spiky balls but they aren't one. --

- - The sprites files of RO and RL call them "spiky balls" (apart the pink ones, called "spiky fishes").
- - As you said, their appearance and functionalities are mostly the same as in R1, R3 GBA...
