The game is very reminiscent of the early ''Sonic the Hedgehog'' titles. Rayman must make his way through 7 levels (3 of forests, 2 of desert and 2 of lava factory) in which in the end there will be a cage with Teensies.
You can run, jump, use your fists and plan with your hair. On your way you will find power-ups that will help you advance the level or defeat the enemies. As a [[plunger]] launcher or a plunger inflator.
It has three levels of difficulty: Easy, Normal and Hard. The amount of [[heart|hearts]] that Rayman will have varies according to the chosen difficulty (4 in easy, 3 in normal and 1 in hard). In the levels you can find [[star|stars]], getting 100 give Rayman an extra [[life]].
