Goaty are environmental creatures who were abandoned from the final version of Rayman 3 to avoid overloading the universes with creatures and sending the player off on false trails.

The Goaty looked vaguely like an ibex, mainly stood on two legs and had a sheaplike head with long hanging ears. He was designed as an animal that Rayman could mount, helping him travel through the mountain universe (possibly the Summit Beyond the Clouds). Eventhought being a scrapped character, the Goaty makes a cameo as a statue in Razoff's Mansion. The statue shows a Goaty with an extra pare of legs being mounted by Count Razoff.
