Ugly

Uglies are a species of creatures that can be found in Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc. They have a bug-like appearence with a small pair of wings and a pair of antennas.

They are first encountered in the Bog of Murk specifically during the Razoff's Mansion phase. They are seen chained-up in various parts of the level. Razoff probably captured them to use them as slaves. Their function is to restore Rayman's healt. In fact if Rayman frees them with a punch they greets and fly away releasing two red Lums.

They are seen again during the cinematic after Razoff's battle. They saved Rayman and Globox from Razoff who had the intention to kill them two. Razoff seems to be afraid of them as he runs away after some Uglies try to attack him. The Uglies probably saved Rayman because he precedently freed them from the chains

Their original habitat is unknow as they aren't seen again during the game. It's unclear if after their freedom they continued to live in Razoff's Mansion basement or if they escaped.
