Lum

A Lum is a small body of magical energy which is found in the Rayman games starting from Rayman 2: The Great Escape. Generally, there are six different types of Lums that are determined by colour, though in Rayman 3: Hoodlum Havoc there is the existence of Black Lums. They are mostly seen as small lights that have insect-like wings, though in Rayman M, Lums can also look like crystal balls. The name is derived from the French word 'lumière', which means 'light'.
