Re: SOTM#170 - Rayman Legends
Congrats Makary!

Re: Mafia - Mafia Wins!
Would it be possible to make a poll to see whos interested? I'd join in.

Re: Quote Scholars!
I was planning on doing a Record Day edition actually, but if I were to do another quiz thing, I'd probably have it be something different. I refuse to become the Illuminations of RPC and milk the scholar cow to its bones.

Re: Manipulate the Image #127 - Plum Juice Explosive
If we don't have a tiebreaker between Gottagocool and Giant Chicken, can I change my vote? :P

Re: Mafia - Mafia Wins!
How many people would we need? I wouldn't be able to do much, but I'm in!

Re: Quote Scholars!
It would be cool to make a sequel to this :P

Re: What games are you currently playing?

RDR1, eh? I kinda wish i could play it, but alas... 1) i don't think we have any physical discs of specifically RDR1 for PS4 here, in the area where i live. I guess i could buy it digitally, but i'm really used to discs, so... And 2) i don't think my dad would approve, i have a feeling he's gonna be all "we already have RDR at home", which is honestly valid, but also i'm just curious how the first RDR is different from the second one (like gameplay wise)
Anyways, here's some screenshots :

It's key to distinguish between RDR1 and RDR2 in several aspects here. For me, RDR2 clearly surpasses RDR1 in its story building, immersion, landscapes, and all the detailed possibilities (you've probably seen it by now, but for instance, you have to maintain your weapons so they shoot properly, as well as watch your eating habits to get higher health and a more optimal Dead Eye). RDR1 doesn't have those kinds of things, but it features a more dynamic and fast-paced gameplay. It doesn't have as many realistic options, which gives it an arcade feel that, in my opinion, earns the game a lot more points. You can also tell RDR1 draws heavily from Clint Eastwood's Spaghetti Westerns, which comes through in its soundtrack, its towns, and even the gunfights. It's a matter of personal taste, of course, but RDR1 will always have a special place in my heart!

Re: The You Game!
< went to Logroño for work a couple of weeks ago. The wine made there is supposed to be the best in the country, but < felt quite disappointed with the tasting organized by the committee. Truth be told, overall, the only positive takeaway < can get from the conference is that Jack Daniel's tastes amazing and a hangover is much more manageable when you drink that instead of ACME-brand beer.
