Seriously, those look almost the exact same, they only have slightly bigger eyes and a bit more of an angular design in Origins. Of all the characters you could pick from to show, you picked the teensies? The teensies were dignified, powerful goofballs in both Rayman 2 and 3, and going off their animation style in Origins, would say the exact same thing.

I never said that are official sources, I say this simply reasoning above! This is my only (and just few other people) reflection:

I was not the only one who thinks so! If Ubisoft sell not much risk and therefore decided to produce (to silence fans at all costs) a Rayman without spending much, this is the real reason of this unusual 2D return!
Rayman 4 was not published not because it is inappropriate to the controller of the Wii, but for speculation within the company. Ancel can justify himself and justify Ubisoft as believe, but people are not stupid!
In fact the only platform version of Rayman Raving Rabbids was released only for GBA there who was in 2D in order to not waste the work done between 2005 and 2006 have decided to circumvent the development costs with this tactic, confirming everything I say.

In short, I keep my ideas, you do the same. I'll find someone who wants to once again the real Rayman.

No, its more like the Final Fantasy fanbase where all you hear is: "FF7 sucks compared to 6" "FF6 cast is awesome 7-8's are pussies" "I only like NES/SNES final fantasies" "the MMOs games are crap!" This is all you hear from them, and quite frankly that's what this thread has become: "origins sucks compared to rayman 2" "Rayman 2s cast is awesome origins/legends are pussies" "i only like classic rayman!"

I don't suspect i'll be coming back to this thread much anymore...

I never said anything against your idea for new 3D Rayman game, infact that would be pretty awesome.
Only thing I dislike is how you kept bringing financial issues as problem even though that was never confirmed anywhere and also now you keep comparing the character designs amd keep calling old ones real and new ones not? It is the same character, same universe, chronologically RO and RL are canon. It is not like Mega Man and Mega Man Volnutt which are completely different characters.

EDIT: I see you edited your post. And yes, Teensies are same everywhere and it's a fact.

Nonsense. They look exactly same but one is not 3D model and has a bit bigger eyes.

If you played level Canopy you would know why everyone calls old Globox coward he gets pretty scared multiple times there.

I'll answer you right away, first Globox for almost the entire game is a loyal friend, faithful and courageous, for the reasons I have already explained before.

About the fear, the fear exists, is also part of the character and it's nothing to be ashamed of as Rayman himself says to Globox that soon after another gives him power.
We are all afraid, and each responds differently.

I have nothing against 2D, but Rayman was continuing its journey in 3D, and then I hate the lack of seriousness, style and authenticity of Origins and Legends.

Even Rayman Raving Rabbids for GBA was in 2D, but damn good because it maintained the atmosphere and style of the first era of Rayman!

So, what I want to say most is that there is no such thing as "Real" Rayman, no "Real" Globox", nor a "Real" set of Teensies. They're clearly redesigns. Let me start by saying that neither of us is necessarily wrong. many people (including myself) would love a new 3D platformer, but what I'm getting at is Rayman Origins/ Legends are definitely up to par with the old games so much that I hope the teensies skin redesigns are kept for future games!

And then is not what I want to know who thinks like me or not I'm interested to the release of Rayman 4! I'm on my way, I'm not here to make obedience.

uh... if you think brad and I are telling you to succumb to our ideas, your gravely mistaken. we merely argue that you aren't giving Oranges and Lemons much credit; true they don't take the more serious tone of raymans' 2-3, but the unique attitudes in terms of gameplay and overall creativity put into them definitely reinvigorated the fan inside of me and have inspired me in as many ways as the classics!
If you have a friend to play origins with it makes the experience twice as good, from slapping your friend while he pile drives you as globox in the band world to the tune of a ukulele or collecting those pesky lums in the moskito stages and destroying the room because you were one lum away from the medal are what simply made those games so much fun to me! so to sum it all up, give them another try, and if a new 3d rayman pops up within the next few years, all the better!
