Beyond Good & Evil

Well they never said that the game got cancelled but the thing is Michel Ancel is pretty busy with the development of WILD at this moment.

Also, it was also kinda confirmed in 2011. It's dead since then.
 
Ancel teased it a bit with poster in his stream but ever since then he has been focused more on WiLD.
 
Any report surrounding the NX is fake as far as I'm concerned. No matter how credible the source was.

Although if it could be bundled with BGE1 HD, like with Bayonetta, that would be great.
 
Hmm, I thought Ninty would have been somewhat apprehensive about partnering with Ubi after their gaffes with the Wii U. Guess time will tell, but I don't know how I'd feel about BG&E being a platform exclusive, it's not a series that I'd like to have to force me to tether to a platform.

I suppose many of you already saw it elsewhere, but I needed to post this here. Oh man.

So Beyond Good & Evil 2 will finally tell the story of Jade's father, the man who built the Beluga. The first game teased that he'd had problems with the authorities on another planet and was forced to put Jade and Pey'J on a spaceship (the Beluga) to another planet (Hyllis) as a result. That sounds like a very cool premise for a BG&E prequel, but the game also really needs to resolve the cliffhanger at the end of BG&E, so I think it'll be a sequel with a prequel story contained in it. Something like Jade going back to her father's home planet in search for a cure for Pey'J's infection, and accidentally finding out what really happened to her father...

Well, I'm excited!
 
I don't know what to make of it personally, but god damn if this isn't pretty!

Kidding of course, really looking forward to this. I should really get around to replaying BG&E 1 again.

If it turns out what we get IS a prequel, I can't wait because it means we get Lil Pey'j, and he's so cute! The first game feels kinda weird nowadays, as it's controls are rather wonky but and the fact that it was waaay ahead of it's time on the whole "female protagonist" bandwagon and it's emphasis on photography.
 
My reason for wanting to replay the first one though is that at the time (since I was much younger), a lot of the story went right over my head, so replaying it would be essential for certain.
