Do you still play PS2?

Heck yeah! I still play Rayman 3 and Burnout 3 on it, and both of those games are awesome in my opinion! Though I haven't played Rayman 3 for a while, so I'm going to play with it some more in the weekend. Btw, thanks for reminding me about it.

Never stopped using it, just 100%ed the original Ratchet & Clank game a week ago, and may revisit 2 at the end of next month.

I wanted to also play the original God of War again, to see how it stacks up against the new one.

Of course. Last week I played a few PS2 games I've had for so many years. Still fun. :)

I do have SCPH-90006, the NTSC-J Console (Contains Chinese Language. but not Japanese), so yes i do play PS2.

I can play PS1 on PS2 Console, when i pressing power button 3 times.

HELL YEAH!!!!!!

PS2 for life! :yeah:
But apparently it looks as though my PS2 doesn't feel the same.

But don't worry it's still working...

I have 5 of those consoles which I restored every one of to perfect working order and still own all of. What does that say?

Hell yeah I do! :)

I have PS2 Games, contains:
* Dawn of Mana
* Bakugan - Battle Brawlers
* Spyro: A Hero's Tail

Some my ps2 games disc was very bad, so it couldn't bootable no reason. The only way is i will try install FreeMCboot PS2, then i can play games onto USB or HDD.
I also have Memory Card PS2 8MB, some games i saved containing Puyo Pop Fever, Alone in the Dark, and more.

I’ve got two PS2s – an European slim (SCPH-90004) and an American import fat (SCPH-39001/N).

I’ve got a HDD in the US one – it came with a network adapter (see /N suffix).

Both consoles contain FMCB.

I don't have FCMB installed on the consoles themselves (HDDs I mean), just on a memory card so I can remove that card and have it boot normally if I want :)

You know I meant "FMCB" :lol: :lol:
Of course I do but you keep misspelling it :p
Haha. How come you only pointed that out now if I've been wrong all along :lol:

It's just a habit because FC is football club I guess like FC Barcelona etc.

Also MB reminded me of McBoot even though that's what MC is for :oops2:
I don't know, I guess it's just a stupid force of habit I had without even realising what I was doing lol.

I've done the same thing with other words before a lot so I wonder if I'm slightly dyslexic, I should have probably just said FreeMCBoot then I can't be wrong :lol:

Haha I see now :D

I just played Asterix & Obelix XXL, that i've been burned my dvd disc.
Honestly, loading data was slow when i changing language or looking gallery images (e.g: Gaulish Nap)
I pressed eject button, soon when trying change language, it says "Insert the Asterix & Obelix XXL Game Disc"

In 2013, i Play Spyro: Enter the Dragonfly and Puyo Pop Fever on Real PS2 Console.

A lot of PS2 consoles struggle with burned DVD-R, especially if they're cheap discs.

A lot of the older original (fat) PS2 aren't really big fans of reading burned media so if you don't have a HDD, Verbatim are really the best by far.

Emulators have far too much input lag VS real hardware for me, even if you use the real hardware with an OSSC or something, the TV still adds far less lag. I know that's not cheap, but I love the real hardware. Says you clearly if I paid over 200 for a line doubler :lol:

Some games are OK as you wouldn't notice the input lag too much, but games like Rayman 1 and 2D Mario you will really notice the difference if you're used to playing the game on original hardware.

That said though I guess emulators kind of do count since you're still playing PS2 games :)
