I agree, what the fuck was that? Where is the new Zelda for Wii U? Have they forgot about that completely? They release a sub par spinoff for Zelda, to top that they pissed off a bunch of Metroid fans.
 
Granted, they said they were only talking about 2015/Q1 2016 games. Zelda U isn't going to be released until maybe Holiday 2016. Oh well, at least Star Fox looks cool.

Oh and the twitch chat fucking lost it when Mario Maker was stated to be released on the 11th of September.

Considering majority of RPC hardly gives a shit for Zelda or Metroid, I can see them being content with it, but really.

A lot of the new announcements for game we previously knew about.

New Star Fox looks awesome! I'm hyped for that.
 
I enjoyed the puppet segments. Those were really entertaining. But I agree with Rayfist, I literally thought we were going to get a new full-fledged Metroid and some info on an actual Animal Crossing game for the Wii U. And no new DLC for either Splatoon or Mario Kart? C'mon!
 
It outright pisses me off how much they're focusing on 3ds and hardly focusing on Wii U. So we have TWO AC games on 3ds, and TWO Fire Emblem games, yet no Wii U installments, granted I'm happy with my Wii U, but they're really doing a poor job on trying to convince people to purchase it.

Most of the announcements we had are for games we already knew were coming out.

Meh, I guess I've got plenty more reason to get a 3DS, Wii U still is a bit iffy.

The new Metroid Prime. Ehhh...I feel mixed. This isn't the Metroid I and I'd assume a ton of others was expecting. But on the other hand, it looks like a fun game. Amusing how after Other M's approach seemed to be to ignore the Prime series, and yet we're back there again. Not that I'm complaining, I just find it interesting to see the Prime name used like this. I guess it's the FPS factor.

I'll probably get it if I do get a 3DS, but at the same time, I kinda expected more.
 
You forgot Mario Maker.

But yeah, this was definitely not worth waking up to. I'm hyped for Mario Maker, Star Fox Zero, and Paper Jam. That's it.
 
It's a little disappointing, I was REALLY anticipating a new Metroid title. You can even tell as Buildersith said, this doesn't even seem like it was a Metroid Title originally.

It seems Platinum games is working alongside Nintendo for Star Fox Zero, I knew the style of it looked familiar.

It definitely wasn't an awful direct, but man it felt very mediocre to previous directs.
 
Yeah, Nintendo you failed me. I'm so disappointed in you guys. That's it I'm tired of everything, I'm gonna overdose on weed.
 
We still have Square Enix at least. Hopefully this goes well, maybe we'll see some gameplay for the Final Fantasy VII remake.

Also forgot to mention that I'm also excited for Hyrule Warriors Legends.
 
Oh yeah, I forgot the Mario and Luigi - Paper Mario crossover. That was pretty neat.

But yeah, kinda deflated with Metroid. Much sadness. Very disappoint.
 
That's cool that you're excited for HW on 3DS Brad, it's really fun, you won't be disappointed. I hope they bring all the stages from the Wii U version over.

The new Metroid game may turn out decent but really.
 
Hearing whats been announced. I can seriously understand why people are violently dissapointed.
I really don't care about 90% of whats been talked about. only Metroid really and even then I don't think it should've been called Metroid. There are three potential reasons I think they did so.
1. the cynical reason: to sell more copies.
2. the likely reason: to see if there's still interest in the franchise.
3. wishful thinking: create an entry level metroid game to entice new fans and prepare the for a real metroid game that may be being planned.
Still though, proper metroid or not, I'll likely buy this it still looks really darn fun.

Square-enix next if Im not mistaken, Final Fantasy 15 will probably be promoted, i doubt we'll get much more news on the ff7 remake, the enix side of things will probably talk about dragon quest heroes, we'll probably see some kingdom hearts 3 gameplay and maybe get some cnfirmation on new worlds and a release date hopefully.
 
I feel like a massive douchebag. Last year on RPC, I called Kingdom Hearts overrated. I'm the biggest ass hat here. Now I REALLY want to get into the series.

Forgive me RPC for my past shitty taste!
