Favourite cake?

‘Liquid fruit’ does not really make sense for me regarding a description of jam! Jam is a fruit spread made of fruits cooked down with sugar and maybe some kind of citrus juice for acidity. I think juice would fit ‘liquid fruits’ better.

The oreo cake, here it is :P

In this cake there is a small variation and, after tasting it today, I can say I like it even more! Normally I don't do this, but this time i added some white chocolate for the "cream" part of the cake, and I think it's pretty tasty

I don't know if I specifically have a favourite cake, and I generally think the majority of cakes are nice. Oreo cake is nice too of course, and I have had it twice recently.

I mean I'm fond of many cakes, but I find brownies are my current inclination...but do brownies count as cake?

Excepting those, Jaffa Cakes (and they count as cakes cause there was a whole legal palava over it xD)

That's actually funny that they are counting Jaffa cakes as cakes, I guess just because it's in the name.

Looking at it again today, for some reason I thought the white part was ice cream.

It really does look like a good birthday cake though and I'm glad you enjoyed it.
I wouldn't really know how it would turn out, maybe I'll come up with something...
The cake can also be made as a cheesecake, but honestly, I think it could be quite heavy if it is. With Philadelphia it's still good, but with mascarpone it's incredibly heavy. It can also be made as a sponge cake, but I don't know how to cook that :oops2:

Maybe they're considered as cakes because of their sponge texture? I don't know, I'll still consider them as biscuits

Yeah honestly same here. To me they're just biscuits and I can't see them as literal cakes no matter how hard I try.

I got this cake for my birthday, I think it's pumpkin? I was confused by the grapes at first, but once I had it... good lord, it's so tasty. I never thought grapes would add such an amazing accent, it's my favourite cake I've ever had :noel:
