General Pokémon Thread

I got White, and I have to say, I'm kinda disappointed that there are no new evolutions of older Pokemon. Those are always interesting.

I personally wasn't gonna get the game, but some of my friends got it and convinced me to. I'm glad I did, because I haven't used my DS is ages.

Are you crazy? Magmortar, Magnezone, Rhyperior and (OH DEAR GOD) Lickylicky? Ick. I'm happy I wont have to put up with anymore abominable evolutions of formerly cool pokemon.

Totally agree with HC.

Lickylicky is probabily among the ugliest PKMN ever. Generation 4's PKMN quite disappointed me in beauty. And when I saw Gen 5's new ones, now I start to think that Gen 4 isn't as bad as I thought.
 
I agree with HC too, although I wouldn't mind if they weren't so sucky like those gen 4 ones.

I got Black today! I'm amazed I came off it to come on here XD But since it has DSi features I may be able to use the advanced DSi wi-fi that works and thus use wi-fi on it.

Funny, I knew I'd get a reply like this. Fine, but there were some good ones. Steelix, the Eeveelutions, maybe Mamoswine (looked way better than its pre-evolutions, at any rate), Electivire, Gallade. You don't even have to evolve the old ones if you don't like their new evolutions. Unless you're trying to complete the Pokedex (an impossible task at this point), in which case you can still breed it to make the original.
 
Electabuzz is my favourite Electric PKMN, and Electivire's design didn't quite satisfied me. I had to evolve him anyway to have one in the Dex and to strenght up the stats.
 
Hey guys, I thought I'd drop in and say that I bought White, and I'm enjoying it. And I haven't touched any other Pokemon game since Silver, so it makes me feel like I'm 10 years old.

I'll agree on Steelix, Electivire and Gallade. But the Eeveelutions since the originals aren't that great, especially the most recent, and Mamoswines whole family sucks really. There are a couple of cool ones, but I'd really prefer a new original pokemon than an evolution of an old one, especially whenj they hove some retarded new evolution mechanism like level up in this particular place or with this particular attack.

Scizor is another exception of course, although Scyther is cool too, they're about even really.
 
Never was really that much into Pokemon, but I highly anticipate the release of Pokemon Roflcopter :D

Xatu and Omanyte are my favorites, based from NicoNico MADs also i can fav the Gen5 ones?
 
Yeah, i am "Lianna" as my alt. name. So , so, Can i has to view the characters in the 5th gen? And EPs?
