General Pokémon Thread

There seems to be a spot of news. Nothing much but the most interesting would be the fact that Pokemon will gain EXP when you catch Pokemon now.
 
Huh, interesting, though it might make catching feel a little more worthwhile and rewarding, given how stressful catching can be at times.

It looks so pretty, and I believe it also comes with the Pokemon 3D app too? No biggy if it's not the case but still pretty cool.
 
I think Pokemon 3D app is free on eShop if I am not in error so even if it's not preloaded with app, you can download it.
 
That works for me too. :mryellow: I know it's not the place to ask but do DSi apps work on the 3DS? I have the Rayman 1 app i'd like to copy over to it.
 
I can confirm that I have Rayman 1's DSiWare game in my Nintendo 3DS.

I've been playing Pokémon Silver lately. I'm on the way to get all the Kanto badges.
 
My opinion is that the Pokémon games were brilliant until Diamond/Pearl came out. Since then I have almost completely lost track of the series. I don't really hate the newer games, but... it's just that the definition of Pokémon is to me good ol' Bulbasaur or Charizard, not the newer monsters (giant white legendary kangaroo-things and living cogwheels, I don't remember their names).

Oh, and it has to be fully 2D graphics. But that's only my opinion.

Good good choice, I also have an XL, so I'll totally battle you 'n stuff.

Anyways the parts that will stay in 2D is the overworld.
 
I'd totally love to battle all of you. :mryellow: Once of course I get all my pokemon into my B/B2 cartridges so I can then transfer them all to XY. I don't own anything too special other then my beloved lvl 73 Blaziken which is there to remind me that trying to beat Emerald with just a Blaziken is suffering.
 
I still need to get Pokémon White/White 2 before going to X. I would like to challenge you one day, Serza :P.

What's your party by curiosity?
 
Just got my bad ass 3DS :mryellow: the XL size is definitely splendid; perfect size to enjoy playing with my Pokemon.

As for my B2 party I was sorta in the middle of adjusting it, at the top of my head I have a Metagross, Milotic, Chandelure, Krookodile, Vaniluxe and Conkeldurr as my main party.
 
This is my party in Soul Silver: Dragonite, Blastoise, Charizard, Electabuzz, Hypno and Metagross.

Hm, my Heart Gold team is : Typlosion, Togekiss, Gyrados (The red one :fou: ), Ampharos, Golem and one other pokemon I can't seem to remember. :sad:
