My biggest disappointment of the 4th generation games were precisely the new PKMN. They are (almost all) so UGLY that I even haven't patience or will to capture them, some I got with trading.
I mean, come on, please tell me that they were in dispair because of lack of inspiration!
I know that I've chosen Turtwig as a starter and I already have a Torterra, I admit he is funny but OMG a tree in his back! It's just missing building a tree fort!
Staravia's curved part on the head is just... ridiculous.
I also know that I trained a Starly until reaching a Staraptor but just look to the thing in his head, it almost looks like he has got an axe.
Bidoof is probabily one of the worst new Pokémons ever.
... Bibarel is ALSO one of the worst AND UGLIEST new Pokémons ever... in such a term that I almost had a heart attack when my Bidoof envolved. I started to dump in his head HMs CDs only.
Kricketot... What can I say? The only good thing on him (I think) is the battle scream.

Budew. What an ugly seed... for a plant like Roselia.
Poor Shieldon that born with a metal dish in his head.
I swear that the next time I evolve a Shieldon into a Bastiodon I'll nickname him as WAFFLE HEAD.
The Burmy and all the Wormadams are UGLY,UGLY,UGLY.
A Combee is just 3 honeycombs with text messages smiles and two wings. How original Game Freak.

At least Purugly's name says all about him. Giovanni's Persian shall not mess with a female one.

After evolving a Bronzor, we have another question. Bronzong is a Pokémon or a Bell? Or a Floating Totem?

Male Happinys are all travestis since they come out from the egg. Just look to their heads.
Spiritomb looks like he is alchoolic or drugged everyday.
Garchomp a dragon? I would say more a mutant shark with legs, arms and torpedos on his head.
Hippopotas. Ugly also.
Hippowdon. Ugly also... again.
Drapion's teeth sure are wicked as hell, aswell the place where the arms are placed.
Toxicroak sure needs a hospital, he has cancer on his neck (Since it's always like that).
Lumineon. Another ugly one.
Mantyke's eyes hurt my sight.
We also capture living Xmas Trees called Snover.
Weavile. If I don't know where my Hand-held fan is on Summer, I already know what to do.
Magnezone. Wow, Game Freak knew how to kill the visual of Magneton: By evolving.
Lickilicky: The worst NAME from all the 493 Pokémon. Also this was an unecessary evolution pardon me.
It wasn't enough to kill Magneton's visual with his new evolution, but they also invented an evolution called "Rhyperior" for Rhydon that also kills his visual.
Magmortar: A burned ass on his head aswell he got fatter.
Togekiss? Are you meaning that this Pokémon likes to kiss? His look is wicked by the way.
Warning, Gliscor is psychadelic.
When Porygon2 evolved to Porygon-Z, the upgrade shure had virtual drugs.
Probopass, may I ask when the last time you went to the hairdresser? Or have you heard about "shaving"?
Rotom is ugly, but he gets even uglier when he transforms into... domestic machines?

I agree with most of your points, however....
I think Bidoof is awesome :3 it's evolution however is ugly like you said.
I also have nothing against Buneary and Lopunny.

BTW I noticed you didn't add any legendaries in that lovely list of yours. Do you actually like them or did you know I liked the legends and were too scared to add them in case I went bizarre?

Weavile is the evolution of Sneasel; Sneasel is indeed second gen but it's evo is 4th.
I agree with Hauruka, here's my opinions of some of the mentioned pokemon:
Torterra and it's family - Bulbasaur+Squirtle.
Staraptor is basically a big emo bird. But it's actually very powerful, and can learn Defog and Fly.
Bidoof and Bibarel look stupid and have below average stats, but you can't ignore it's amazing HM slave capabilities - it learns 6 of 8 HMs, making it a sure spot of any of my in-game 4th gen teams.
Kricketune is gay but makes the coolest noise ever.
Shellos looks funny but I like the concept of how it's diffewrent depending on the part of the region its in.
I actually kinda like Bronzong, and it's got nice stats.
Happiny can't be male, so your point is invalid there.
Imo Garchomp looks better before he evolves. If it weren't for the amazing stats, moves and typing I wouldn't even have one.
Hippowdon isn't too bad.
Toxicroak is actually pretty cool imo; one of the few cool 4th gen pokemon.
Weavile would be awesome if it didn't have such a stupid head.
All those other evos you mentioned are also horrible, especially Magmortar, with his obesity and stupid haircut.

What I find really gay with all the Pokémon in Haruka's message is not their looks but their names... In Red/Blue most puns were awesome, now they're just fucking lame. Even in Gold, which is the last version I played, the names sucked but not that much.

I forgot that Happiny and limited company are all females, but it's still odd she hatching from an egg. Unless other Pokémon are compactible to reproduce with Chansey/Blissey.

They look ugly and stupid, their names suck and there's nothing creative, original or interesting about them. Bidoof is the epitome of the fail upon which Generation 4 was built. The longer they go on, the better Generation 1 seems to me.Hunchman801 said:

I don't know about Portugal but over here we had Diagla and Palkia stylus pens if you pre-ordered Diamond or Pearl. We could also get the Shaymin event if we pre-ordered Platinum. Can't say I want a statue for this one, an event however....
