General Pokémon Thread

I'm beginning to like Zekrom, but did anyone notice it's tail?
It looks like a drill.... that could mean a new move.
 
It could be a steel type too, but i hope it's rock or ground.
Only because Dialga is already a Steel/Dragon type.
 
A dragon/ground or rock pokemon sounds weird though.

That being said Reshiram could be a flying type.
 
I can't argue with that but this is Game Freak, they could easily do something like that.
 
Dragon/Ground already exsist anyway. There's Flygon and the giant blue shark thing. I can't remember its name right now.
 
Oh yeah Flygon, and the giant blue shark thing. :B The only shark I can mind in pokemon is Sharpedo but that isn't a dragon/ground type.

And an Dragon/Rock type still doesnt exist.... actually, a Rock type legendary doesn't even exist at all.
Same with Fighting, Bug and Poison.

Yeah... there's no point in ignoring the other types. Darkrai was like the first pure dark legendary, and dark type for that matter. I think it took them WAY too long to get a dark type to become legendary.

P.S. Darkrai is Chuck Norris in pokemon form. Period.
 
And don't forget ghost, Giratina was the first Ghost type legendary.
I like Dark and Ghost types, not because they look ''cool'', but because they're affective against Phychic and Ghost types.
Dark's only weaknesses are Bug and Fighting, but there are not much Bug and Fighting trainers in any pokemon game yet.
Ghost is a cool type because Ghost pwns other Ghosts, and it murders Psychic pokemon too.... the only bad thing is that it does the same in reverse.
Psychic is cool too, i have an Alakazam with Light screen, Calm wind, Recover and Psychic, that's the best moves for him imo.
The bad thing about Psychic is that it's hyped, and Psychic isn't really affective against other Psychic pokemon.
 
Actually now you're mistaking ghost types as Gastly. Gastlys are ghost/poison. Pure ghost types get normal damage from psychic.

Couldn't agree with this more.

Yeah ghost types take normal effect against psychics.
 
That's wierd, i always thought Psychic was super affective against Ghost.
And yes, Ghastly/Haunter and mainly Gengar are the only ghost types i use.

That doesn't make sense to me, and that would mean that poison is only affective to Grass types.
 
Just try and see for yourself. Beat up a Zubat with Psybeam or something. You'll see.

And does anyone else find it funny that people at the GTS try to trade like a lvl 1 Giratina for a lvl 100 Mew?
