I got Portalcraft working by using this program that installed all the files for you. So far I'm loving playing with the Portal Gun since I've never played the real Portal/2.

I'm guessing it won't spawn in normal world because it'd destroy your houses/crops/etc.

Hey I'm thinking of making a new world and just going to the nether to make it my main base where I'll live. It'd be ever so much fun! (<-WTF was that?)

LOLO. OMG I got Modloader and AudioMod, this lets me get almost every other mod there is! I already have Toomanyitems, and here comes Mo' Creatures! Then the planes mods, then a gun mod. This is gonna be fun...
 
Which one? Too Many Items, Mo' creatures, the Planes Mod, or the Gun Mod? BTw I now have Mo' Creatures as well. Tis'll be fun in Skyblock once I build my mob trap...

EDIT: I guess "NO Mods, Hacks, Flying, etc." counts for Mo' creatures as well since you can get different items from them. Lucky there's a menu that let's you turn off the spawn rate of monsters! And I'll just disable Too Many Items on Skyblock and Viola!

I've been sitting on an idea in about a week now. I'm currently paying for a pretty powerful server by Servercraft. We're a few people playing, mostly friends of mine, and their friends.
We've been hoping to get more people on it, but never got around to make any public information about it. Therefore, we've been talking about maybe "merging" the RPC server with the server I'm paying for.
I'm currently using a plugin for multiple worlds, and I could therefore import the RPC map as a sorta semi-creative world, where all users can spawn items.
Changes for the server would include different groups, easy plugin support, and a more community like server. This might get hard to get used to, but if this seems
interesting to anyone, please let me know what you think of the idea. Then, I can give further information. But, if you would rather like to play on a normal vanilla server
without groups or anything like that, I fully understand.

Any reason why you can't try this before asking us?

Not that I have anything against you or your friends, it's just that there's plenty of sites where you can advertise (The Official Minecraft forum for example) where i'm sure plenty of people would pick up. It just seems odd to ask something like this when you haven't tried to get yourselves known.

That's interesting setup, especially the cobblestone generator! I like it. And no, you can't make extra sand. Sorry, you'll have to do with what you have.

Ach and one of the acheivements is a cacti farm apparently, a real big farm if you only have 1 cacti.
 
Don't you know the trick to getting two cacti from one cactus? You place two cobblestone blocks 1 block higher than the cactus's height opposite each other. this means when it grows the tops part falls off and you get two cacti!
