I've never had an 11th or 12th Doctor screwdriver toy to compare with. Design-wise though, I've always felt that 11/12's Sonic Screwdriver had a more elegant look to them, also preferred the green emitter to the blue emitter in 10's. 10's screwdriver definitely looks more alien, though.

That being said, there's one flaw with the 11th Doctor screwdriver toy I'm aware of that was never really fixed in the later revisions (like the one touch I showed above), there's a loose wire in the translucent green tube within the neck of the screwdriver, not a major issue, but it's a rather minor detraction.

You'd think they'd go a bit more transparent route in the wires coating, or fuse the actual copper in the plastic. Since the LED likely doesn't draw much energy, they don't need a very big gauge of wire.

We've pretty much kicked my brother out of our lives right now, because of the misery he kept bringing on my parents. We figured his insanity stems from drug usage, drug dealing, and on top of that, the crazy girlfriend he refuses to leave.
I'm really sorry to hear that, it sucks to lose a family member to drugs are other stupid reasons.

Yeah, I wish he would straighten up, but he has yet to, and he's 37 now.

Can't help someone who won't help themselves.

And apparently my cousin is an idiot as well, he bought a car only maybe a week or two ago, and totals it over the weekend. Hadn't even gotten tags on it yet.

I could understand 26 or 27, but 37? What a loser.

Yeah, ain't that the truth.

He's been given far too many chances, and blows them all. Too many blank empty promises he never fulfills. Then most of all, he still keeps making "guilt trips" trying to make my parents feel bad, but that stopped working. Even his threats of him shooting himself are gone unrelieved.

Well, he keeps saying he can't stand us. So if he can't, then he needs to stay away. Especially when he's drug dealing with his girlfriend. Who has a three year old son in such situation by the way. Not a good environment for a kid by any means.

Sorry to hear that Hoodcom. I've been in that similar situation before with two of my relatives.

I am definitely noticing everyone being in a much better mood with out him around.

Windows 98SE was my very second operating system to have in our home. First was MS-DOS 6.22 and Windows 3.1.

It's nice to finally have our original computer model back. Well, close to it anyway. 8)

The first OS I had contact with was Windows 3.1. When I got my first personal computer, it had Windows ME.
