I have college today. I’m getting kinda tired of it, I’m gonna be honest. But I’m half way there… so I can do it I think

HTML is not in fact a programming language! It is a markup language, like BBcode, Markdown or LaTeX. But it's a lot uglier

Which, is in the full name, yeah. "HyperText Markup Language"

You know what is funny? Is what PHP used to stand for during it's early days. How many of you guys actually know what PHP stands for today, and what it started out as?

I dont know what it stands for, but i ADORE it! It lets me journal with a cool interface! (even though fifo set it up for me and did all the work.. shout out my goat!)

"Personal Home Page". It was something some guy threw together to help run his website, which is why it developed in such a way that some think of it more as an "arbitrary collection of stuff" than a real programming language :fou:

Given how much complaining I hear of it, I would've thought it'd be short for something like People's Headache Perpetual.

Oh god it does cause head aches though! I’ve heard it almost caused the destruction of personal websites in the 2000s! (Or something like that)

Yeah, now it's basically "PHP: Hypertext Preprocessor".

Certainly different than it's original name.

Anyone have any recommendations for PS2 games?

So far I've got
Alien Hominid (gotta get on that Behemoth grind! :bad:)
Rayman Revo
Family Guy Video Game!
And Ratchet & Clank (I plan to get the rest of the games soon)

I want to broaden my horizons and get to play more games, since I feel like I play 5 or so games only :|

Anyone have any recommendations for PS2 games?

Dr. Muto is a very fun PS2 game! (Though technically it is on other systems too.)

And if you like a good story, the Xenosaga games are really good for that. Though I didn't care much for the gameplay in the second one.

Kim Possible: What's the Switch? is also surprisingly a fun game too on the system.

If only there were a person who could make my quiz continue onwards.

Don't hesitate to use hints, at worst you would just have to withdraw and change the question if that doesn't work a time or two. :)

I'll check those out then. Thanks!

Along my favorites I'll always recommend :

- Megaman X8
- Kingdom Hearts I and II (but especially the second)
- Dark Cloud
- Final Fantasy X
- Metal Gear Solid 2.

Ive never tried KH, and i feel too dumb to understand the game...

From what I've seen, you're just some kid who runs around with Disney characters all day. :hinhin:

I kinda doubt it would be hard to understand, but who knows? It's not like I've played it... :oops2:

Metal Gear Solid seems pretty interesting, a lot of people I know LOVE that game! Perhaps I'll try it out soon, after Ratchet & Clank

Kingdom Hearts is a series where the main story isn't constrained to the numbered entries. If you were to go from KH1 to KH2 to KH3, you'd be incredibly lost. Between KH1 and 2 alone, you've got games like Chain of Memories that introduced Organisation 13, the idea of Nobodies and what happens to Sora as to how he ends up in Twilight Town in KH2. I think 358/2 days is also between KH1 and KH2? But I think plotwise it doesn't tie in to 2 moreso than it does 3.

I'm not even going to attempt to elaborate the amount of side-games that you need to know about for KH3, two major ones I know of would be Birth By Sleep and Dream-Drop Distance. Then there's other games and mobile games that delve into the greater lore and explain things that are just treated as matter-of-fact in the numbered games.

And this is coming from someone who's never played a Kingdom Hearts game to completion (most I've done is attempted a run of KH1 but got bored just after I got out of the Destiny Isles). All I know is from having a look on the Wiki, and it's...dense to say the least.
