I still want to play the original trilogy, Other M doesn't look all that appealing to me to be honest.

I am such a derp, yes prime trilogy.

AGH I missed out! Super Metroid goes for ridiculous prices now, I missed my chance when I found it for cheap at a pawn shop, the game goes for $50 now.

Either it's becoming rare, or sellers are just being more of douchebags. I own a LOT of rare snes games though.
 
I don't have the great capability of retro game collecting, so I'm stuck emulating the game, on my PSP no less.
 
I hear PSP emulation is pretty damn good actually, was thinking of buying a PSPGO so I could hack it, and play vintage on the go. However my snes collection isn't the best 29 games or so- a lot of them are certainly rare.

I'm an actual collector Sergio, I usually avoid Virtual console stuff, Earthbound will be one acception though whenever it gets released.

I understand.

Earthbound will come out in November. I understand why you chose the virtual version, after all, it's one of the most overpriced games.

It's my second favorite series of all time next to Rayman- and considering I'm not a huge RPG person, that is saying a lot. The game costed me $120, I want to get it on wii-U for a good replay :)
 
I think he's getting it because it's freaking Earthbound, one of the greatest RPGs ever. You have the original, right Rayfist?

Also I'm hoping Earthbound being released on the wii-U will get a lot of new people into the series. :)

I've never played Earthbound, but I'm aware of its status.

Anyway, today Microsoft unveil their new Xbox, let's see how well they fare against Nintendo and Sony.

I'm hoping for less casual Kinect crap, no more focus on Nickelodeon/pizza apps aswell as early Cod DLC as their main exclusive and instead more quality first party games, that aren't the same process of Halo,Gears,Forza over and over. The 360 had same great games around 2005-2008 like Lost Odyssey, Kameo, Crackdown etc, just more IPs like that would be awesome. I mean they have Rare making Kinect sports titles now...really?

I think the similarities are a bit too confusing. Even in your post right here, I almost thought you had bought a Wii U and straight away sold it.
Although I guess similar confusion could exist when talking about an 'Xbox' and actually meaning an 'Xbox 360'. Playstation, PS4, Nintendo DS, DSi, 3DS...
all those names are so similar. What makes sense for them that doesn't for the Wii U?

Atleast they've shown the box, though it looks like a sleek set-top box, for some odd reason.
And it has another thing with a camera, seems to be a new Kinect.

Starting off with kinect and Tv stuff, as a gamer I just care about what new games Microsoft have to offer, not this crap.
 
Sports channels? Not extremely interesting at all.
But it's interesting to see that they're trying to make it more than a gaming console, almost like a PC for the living room.
Oooh, bundled Kinect? Interesting, though wonder how much money is this going to cost?
